Pasadena, CA and Richmond, VA, --August 1, 2002 -E-Z Data, Inc. and GE Financial announced today that E-Z Data, Inc. has acquired LifeMarkets, LLC, the Lynchburg, VA based provider of agency management software and transaction services. The combined organization creates an industry leading insurance distribution software provider serving more than 50% of the domestic brokerage general agencies and over 80,000 insurance agents worldwide.

With the addition of LifeMarkets, E-Z Data now has technology solutions for agents, agencies and carriers enabling every component of the insurance distribution process from contact management to sophisticated database mining. E-Z Data has served the insurance agency market since 1986 and now has more than 200 developers focused on building web-based solutions for all facets of the insurance and financial industries.
