Recognized Again for Commitment
to ACORD Standards
Company Receives Certification Award at
the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum
PASADENA, CA, May 23, 2006—E-Z Data,
Inc., a leading provider of front-office systems
for insurance companies, broker-dealers, general
agents, agents, and investment advisors, today
announced that it received a 2006 Certification
Award at yesterday’s ACORD Awards Luncheon at
the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum at the
Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The award was
presented to E-Z Data to recognize the company’s
continued leadership in standards adoption. E-Z
Data was selected from among more than 150
companies who submitted for the award.
The award, created to recognize a distinct area of
achievement in the area of ACORD standards, was received
for E-Z Data’s SOAP interface, or 302 Holding Search
(Receiver) – a certification that was developed to meet
the needs of Jefferson Pilot Financial (JPF). The
resulting business transaction was co-developed with JPF
to provide the company’s field wholesalers with
up-to-date producer and sales data received via wireless
devices, allowing them to better manage their daily
activities. The system interfaces with JPF’s legacy
systems and maintains hierarchies and sales data for
each of the company’s eight distribution channels –
including more than 68,000 producer records.
